Day 9 – Great Falls, MT
Hi everyone!  Looks like Lililoo snuck in and published yesterday’s blog.  Not surprising… that’s why we call her “Trouble”.

Today THE SUN CAME OUT!!!  Dad took us for our morning walk and we saw those freakish big dogs again.  Dad called them “horses”.  I think that is a naughty word for freakish dogs.

Then it was time to hit the road again.  It was wonderful to nap in the Jeep with the sun warming us through the windows.  Mom and Dad’s first stop was at a place called a “fur trader”.  I asked if we could trade Lili and her fur for something better.  Mom wasn’t amused.  Dad found a lot of really cool stuff.  Mom said it’s a good thing we have no room in the car and no money to spend.  I was kind of bummed because I thought I’d look GREAT in a buffalo jacket.  Eli just wanted to know where the “leftovers” were.  He figured if there were animal pelts the good stuff must be laying around somewhere waiting to be eaten.  Lililoo was getting a big restless waiting for Mom and Dad to come out and tried to drive away in the Jeep.  Good thing Mom and Dad came out when they did - foiled that plan for sure (that and the fact that she never had keys).  The ladies in the shop came out and gave us treats and ooo’d and aaa’d over us (actually it was just over me because not only am I the “good one”, I’m also the “pretty one”).
Next we drove by this place called “Glacier National Park”.  Mom and Dad said it was beautiful, we all agreed it was “blurry”.  We stopped at this place called “Glacier Park Lodge”.  It was a HUGE building with a some of the best “REST” area grass yet.  Mom and Dad went in.  I don’t think they ate because they came out really soon.  I think Dad was taking pictures…
Next we went through this place called the Blackfeet Nation.  Lili wanted to know why their feet were black and could we see them?  Dad rolled his eyes and told us to lay down.  We stopped by a metal sculpture of some freakishly big dogs with people in masks and costumes riding on their backs.  Dad said “no, those are HORSES and INDIANS”.  I wish he’d stop using naughty words.
As we drove, the blur became much less interesting.  There were no trees and lots and lots of sky.  Dad said that’s why Montana is called “the big sky state”.  We actually found it to be really boring.
Pretty soon we got to the hotel in this place called Great Falls.  We didn’t see any “GREAT” falls or even some “not-so-great” falls.  We did go to the BEST DOG PARK YET!!!  It had grass and trees and places for Mom and Dad to sit and lots and lots of dogs.  Eli looked the happiest I’ve seen him yet – he was smiling the WHOLE TIME!  Yay for Eli!  I love my brother!
Then it was time for Mom and Dad to eat dinner.  They went to this place called “Bert & Earnie’s”.  We REALLY wanted to go in and meet Bert and Ernie. We’ve seen them on TV and they look really fun.  Mom said it was owned by a different Bert and Ernie and we should stay in the car.  Sigh… of COURSE we should… L
After that we went back to the room and went to bed.  Tomorrow is another day…
P.S.  Would someone PLEASE tell Mom that drinking out of the toilet is ok???  Dad is getting REALLY tired of us knocking over the ice bucket/water bowl in the bathroom.
PLEASE can we trade in Lili's???
